Wiley grasped hold of his dick and started stroking it hard and fast. “Not gonna last, oh fuck!”

“You feel so good, Wiley,” Baer breathed as he held himself up and watched Wiley stroking himself. When Wiley’s body suddenly went taut, Baer held his breath, feeling his own orgasm gathering as he watched Wiley come all over himself.

Nothing else existed for him as he watched the love of his life coming apart. He pressed far into his body, pumping his hips over and over and as the pleasure swamped him, he let all his emotions show on his face as he emptied himself into Wiley.

“Love you, love you, love you,” Wiley chanted.

Baer couldn’t speak, could only feel the joy coursing through his veins. He held on to his man as he felt overwhelmed by the emotions coming from both of them. Nothing in his life had prepared him for Wiley.

When he got himself under control, he pulled back and stared at him. “You’re my life, my love, my breath. I’ve never felt like this for anyone and I’m honored that I get to spend my life feeling like this. That I get to spend my life with you.”

“Oh, Baer,” Wiley whispered. “I didn’t expect to find something like this, but I always hoped. We get to spend that life with each other.”

When Wiley wrapped his arms around Baer’s neck, he fell onto him and held him close. He was more determined than ever to beat the pestilents so he could have that long life with this man he loved.

Epilogue

Baer smirked as he stepped into the open doorway of the billiards room and was immediately greeted by towers of boxes. He’d just tipped the movers and watched them head down the driveway in their truck after unloading the last of Wiley’s stuff. His couch, drafting table, and TV had been moved to the game room, while his bed and a few other random pieces of furniture were already donated to charity. Everything else sat in the billiards room, waiting to be sorted into two piles—what to keep and what to give away.

Cleaners were heading into Wiley’s old apartment tomorrow, and then a friend was supposed to be subletting his former residence until Wiley’s lease was up in a few months.

Was this too fast to be officially living together?

Baer wanted to laugh at the idea. Everything about their relationship had been fast, but it had also been right. Wiley was the perfect fit for him. And it wasn’t because some goddesses claimed Wiley was his soul mate.

No, he’d come to love Wiley long before that information came to light. There was a meticulousness to his nature that balanced Baer’s more “fly by the seat of his pants” mentality. He laughed easily and often. Wiley also fit so well with the men who had become his family.

With Wiley, Baer felt complete.

“Hey!” Lucien called.

Baer twisted around to see Lucien and Clay coming through the open front door, carrying two large boxes.

“This is the last of Wiley’s stuff from Jo’s truck. Where do you want it?” Clay asked.

“In here!” Wiley’s voice rose from the depths of the billiards, partially muffled by all the boxes. There was a sound of boxes scraping and then a grunt before a dusty and sweaty Wiley emerged from the towers. “Those are more of my collectibles. They’ll go in the studio, but I want to sort through them first. I haven’t decided which I want to display yet.”

“I can’t wait to see it all set up,” Clay said.

“Yeah, it’s just going through all this stuff. It sucks that I brought so much that will be a duplicate of what you have here. And nearly all my kitchen stuff is new.”

Clay shrugged. “Take it all to the kitchen and get Dane to help you sort through it. He’s the head chef in this house, and I’m sure he’d be happy to have duplicates of a lot of things.”

“Even the coffeemaker?”

“Yes!” Lucien, Clay, and Baer said in unison.

Wiley nearly doubled over with laughter, and the rest of them flushed.

“With this many people in one house, it’s a damn good idea to have a few coffeemakers on hand in case one of them breaks,” Baer said.

“So true! Could you imagine Clay in the morning without coffee?”

Clay playfully shoved Lucien, earning a snicker from the Fire Weaver. “Yeah, ’cause you’re such a ray of sunshine in the morning.”

“I still can’t believe you managed to cram all this stuff into that tiny apartment,” Lucien said. He placed the box on another stack and stretched his arms over his head.

“Or that you managed to pack it all in just a few days,” Clay added.

“We were very motivated,” Baer said as he pulled Wiley against him and wrapped his arms around his shoulders. Bending his head, he nuzzled Wiley’s sweaty skin while mentally counting down the minutes until he could get his lover into the shower.
