“Yes, my love. Give it to me.”

I exploded again, locking down. I pulsed around his cock, my muscles clenching him as he gasped and shut his eyes, his orgasm washing over him. He called out my name, fisting my hair and bending low to kiss me. I felt his pleasure in the warmth of his mouth. Tasted his ecstasy. Reveled in my own. Until our bodies had to stop and he lifted his head. Our eyes met again, mine sated, his seeking. He slowly disengaged from me and pulled me into his arms as we lay on the mattress, our breathing ragged and loud. He pressed innumerable kisses to my face and head, murmuring quiet words in between them.

He lifted my face to his and kissed me. “Are you all right, my love?”

“I’m good. Sleepy.” I frowned. “Hungry.”

“Go back to sleep. I cook for you after.”

“Hmm,” I replied, already slipping away. “So good, Egan. We were so good.”

I felt the press of his mouth to my head.

“I know.”

CHAPTER FIVE

Egan

She fell asleep, and I watched her as she slumbered. She was finally mine. She hadn’t said the words yet, but I knew she felt them. She wouldn’t have given me her body if she didn’t. I knew that about her. I could feel it in her kiss, hear it in the way she said my name. How her body molded to mine when I held her. The smile she gave me when I least expected it. Unguarded, sweet, filled with emotion. And now that we’d had sex, she would confess her feelings soon.

I stayed for a while, mesmerized by her. How her dark hair spread over the pillow. The way her lips pursed and smoothed, a tiny sigh escaping her lips on occasion. As I eased from her, she frowned, reaching out her hand. I slid my pillow toward her, and she gripped it, whispering my name. I bent and kissed her, stroking the hair away from her face. She was so beautiful.

And now, she was mine.

The smile stayed on my face as I showered and went to the kitchen to make coffee. It was late afternoon, but I needed the jolt of caffeine.

I answered some emails, talked to Leo, then I called the gym, speaking to Mack, one of my managers.

“Everything okay?”

“Smooth as silk,” he responded. “Have some membership applicants for you to look over.”

“Great. I’ll be in tomorrow.”

“Someone was here looking for you. Didn’t leave their name.”

“Oh?”

“A guy—big, muscles, dressed like a bouncer. Rather sour-faced and had a crazy hairdo. Asked for you by name. I said you weren’t in, and he seemed to think I was lying.”

“Odd.”

“He said he would be back. Refused to leave a name or a card so you could get in touch. I assured him if he had a complaint about the gym, I could help. He just laughed and walked away.”

“Was the camera on?”

“Yeah. I already forwarded it to you.”

“Okay. Maybe someone looking for a job.”

Mack laughed. “Well, word is this is the best gym to work at.”

I laughed with him. “See you tomorrow.”

I opened my laptop, studying the video Mack had sent. He was right. The guy was young and toned, and his hair stood out. He frowned the entire time he was talking to Mack, dressed in a shirt that showed off his muscles. I zoomed in on the tattoos on his arms, unsure of the symbols. I got a screen capture and decided to run it through a program.

Arms slipped around me, and soft lips nuzzled at my throat. Instantly, I forgot about anything else but that. I shut the laptop, spinning on the stool, and tugged Sofia into my arms. I fisted her hair, exposing her neck, and I kissed up the delicate column until I reached her mouth. I didn’t hold back, kissing her until she was trembling in my arms. I loved this more vulnerable side to her. The way she responded to me, letting me take control.

I dropped my head to her neck. “You taste so good.”

“Must be an improvement on earlier.”

I chuckled and lifted my head. “You tasted perfect then too. If you think a little morning breath is ever going to keep me away from your mouth, you have a lot to learn.”

She rolled her eyes but gripped my shoulders. “You taste like coffee.”

I kissed the end of her nose. “I’ll get you some.”

I slid off the stool, lifting and depositing her where I had been sitting. I got her a mug of coffee and leaned on the counter across from her. “I thought you would sleep longer.”

She shook her head. “I want to sleep tonight.”

I arched one eyebrow. “And you’re so sure I’m going to let you?”

For a moment, she blinked, then she began to laugh. “I know you will. You always put my welfare first. Even ahead of your rather impressive cock.”
